Privacy & Permissions

Vimo needs to read the necessary keyboard input events so it can recognize shortcut workflows and show contextual hints. The exact system permission model depends on the operating system; some systems describe this as keyboard access or keyboard hook permission.

Vimo applies workflow behavior when the app is running and a relevant workflow is available for the current application. Behavior can still be affected by application and system permission boundaries.

Shortcut configurations are primarily stored on the user’s own device. Vimo does not currently provide shortcut-configuration cloud sync.

Licensing, device management, purchase restoration, support, and related services may process necessary product, device, and environment information. These boundaries are described in the Privacy Policy.

The product-facing summary on this page does not replace the formal Privacy Policy.
