What is Vimo Rebinder?

Vimo Rebinder is an app-specific keyboard workflow tool. It uses app-level mappings, Floating Hints, groups, and layouts to keep shortcut behavior organized by application.

Is Vimo a key remapper?

Vimo includes keyboard remapping behavior, but its product model is broader. It organizes app-specific workflows and shows relevant actions in context.

Which operating systems are supported?

Vimo currently supports Windows 10 / 11 on x64 and macOS 13.0 or later. See Platforms & Compatibility for distribution details.

Which languages are supported?

The Vimo Website and documentation provide Chinese and English versions. In-app language support follows the currently distributed application version.

Is Vimo free?

Free is free to use. Pro is available as a permanent license or a 1-year license.

How many devices can use Pro?

Pro may be used on up to 3 devices.

What is the difference between the permanent and 1-year license?

The permanent license is RMB 129 / USD 19.99. The 1-year license is RMB 49 / USD 7.99. Both are public product license options; the current purchase boundary is described on the Download page.

Are Store and official purchases interchangeable?

No. Windows Direct Build, Microsoft Store, and Mac App Store entitlements are independent.

Why does Vimo need keyboard access?

Vimo needs to read the necessary keyboard input events so it can recognize shortcut workflows and show Floating Hints. See Privacy & Permissions.

Where are shortcut configurations stored?

Shortcut configurations are primarily stored on the user’s device. Vimo does not currently provide shortcut-configuration cloud sync.
